21 Jun 2008 - Redstart in Alfrick Pound area

 A redstart has ben seen very recently in the Alfrick Pound area, perching on a post and going in and out of a nearby barn, possibly carrying food to a nest. Breeding redstarts have not been observed before in this location although a breeding pair has been recorded about a mile away on the edge of Old Storridge.
